Our team of 34 Rotarians, spouses and children led by President Dr Ravi Mandalam of RCKK, departed from Kota Kinabalu on Feb 22 to Kuala Lumpur, en route to New Delhi. RI District 3310 Governor Datuk Lee Chuen Wan and First Lady Datuk Naomi Chong, Past District Governors Edward Sung Burongoh and Datuk Zainie Abdul Aucasa and spouse Datin Kalimah also graced the visit.

Our Rotary team visited many ancient Mughal era monuments in Agra such as the world-famous Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Sikandra, Fatehpur Sikri and Itmad-Ud- Daula. In Jaipur the team visited the Palace of Winds, Amer Fort, City Palace and Jantar Mantar. In Delhi visits were made to the India Gate War Memorial, Qutb Minar, Jama Masjid and Akshardam Temple.

On the 28th of February we visited the Rotary Club of Delhi Panchshila Park. The talk was followed by a sumptuous Indian dinner and fellowship. Rotarians of both clubs exchanged gifts. The occasion also presented an opportunity for three members of the Inner Wheel Club of Kota Kinabalu to meet their counterparts in Delhi.
